How to look like a preppy girl

The look

Preppy colors are for example white, beige, navy and black. Look for classic items like a cable knit sweater, or corduroy jeans. Some popular preppy brand names are: Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and Lacoste. But there are much more. Blazer (Abercrombie sells preppy ones.

Accessorize. The accessories are very important to add that extra preppy thing into your outfit. Here are some really preppy accessories:
-Pearl necklaces and earrings. They are so preppy, and really a must-have for all the

girls.
-Small tote bags in simple colors. Vera Bradley handbags are very preppy.
-Ribbon belts.

If you want to have a bigger statement, try to draw the attention on only one thing. Like your necklace. Otherwise it's too much, and it going to look not so preppy anymore. 
Do your hair. Try a simple looking hairstyle, like a ponytail. Or just leave your hair the way it is. There is not really something that you have to do with your hair to look preppy. The clothes are the most important. But don't cut your hair in to many layers, than it's not preppy and isn't matching with your outfit. 

Do your makeup.

Do your makeup just very light. Add some mascara, eyeliner, little eye shadow and a lip-gloss. This will make you look like a very preppy girl!!! ;)

The attitude

Be confident. All the preppy girls aren't afraid to show off their personality. They have good manners, are polite and friendly. If you want to build up your self-esteem, just think about things you’re good at. And remember you’re the only person in the world that's you. And that's unique. ;) Hold your head high and you can conquer the world.
